My passion for decoding spaces is the culmination of nearly a decade of retail visual merchandising and freelance marketing, sprinkled with a lifetime of experiences. Using my background of space design and storytelling, I took my real life lessons and launched an online interior design service. My love of design has since evolved into a destination for inspiration centered around my blog, video content, social media, podcast, and self- published book. As both interior designer and content creator, I specialize in connecting my decor-obsessed audience with beautiful and functional design to transform their ordinary spaces into extraordinary dreamscapes. With an exceptional eye for online re-design and vignette styling, I have had the honor of working with clients and brands all over the country. An all around idea-machine, my desire to contribute to the design community has also manifested in adapting the #sharethemicnow Instagram initiative for the home industry, bringing together over 100 members of the design community to spark conversation and instigate change amidst a modern-day civil rights movement. When not neck deep in floor plans, mood boards, copy edits, and big ideas, you can find me adjusting to life in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and daughter.
“Our homes are where we begin and end each day, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, people have come to realize the importance of the home as a refuge from the outside world. Having experienced, during the most chaotic of times, the importance of home, we will start to see a shift to designing homes that people don’t want/need a vacation from, with more intention being put into the meaning of home, versus setting trends.”
