A native Washingtonian, Marika Meyer established her interior design firm, Marika Meyer Interiors, in 2007 in Washington, DC. A culmination of her formal interior design education and practical experience in the fine arts, Marika Meyer Interiors is a full-service interiors firm specializing in residential design with projects spanning the United States and Europe.
With each client’s lifestyle and taste in mind, the firm references the architectural integrity of each project to encourage harmony between structure and decoration, artfully mixing classic and transitional elements. The result: practical luxury, functional beauty in well-proportioned environments that are elegant and sophisticated yet welcoming, livable, and absolutely personal… the very definition of feeling right at home.
In 2016, Marika launch Marika Meyer Textiles, drawing on her experience in the studio and a degree in Fine Arts. The line is a combination of her love and passion for painting and her desire to create fabrics that can serve as the foundation for a room. Most recently, Marika launched the “Celebration” collection to commemorate the studio’s fifteenth year. The fabric collection has all of the hallmarks of Marika’s style – classical elements in fresh hues with a new go-to small print, a signature of the studio’s designs. Marika’s work has been featured in Traditional Home, Interiors, House Beautiful, Washingtonian, Luxe Magazine and The Washington Post among others.
