At the beach, in the city, or in the unparalleled light of Southern California, a project’s locale should inform every element of architecture, interiors and landscape. Ultimately, the dialogue between a home and its surroundings creates an emotional connection for the people who live there. Designer, architect and VERANDA Contributing Design Editor Joy Moyler, together with Paloma Contreras, Michael Del Piero, and Elizabeth Graziolo, will explore examples of design properly rooted in a place and time. The discussion will examine the role of lighting in establishing and enhancing a link to environment and setting in order to create spaces that feel naturally grounded.
