“Shelter-in-place orders have kept most of us at home, with our surroundings taking centerstage. Delineating the line between the work and home experience is crucial. There is a broader understanding of the influence design has on our way of life. Priorities are shifting. We are moving away from the normalcy of first designed public spaces, such as the living room, and towards creating the personal spaces first, such as the bedroom.”
