Tuesday Sep 8, 12:00PM-1:00PM
Since quarantine began, the experience of home has changed tremendously — we’ve all become “homebodies,” even if we never spent this much time at home before. Comfort and utility have taken on new importance. In this panel moderated by Business of Home’s Dennis Scully, Arteriors guest designers Laura Kirar, Barry Dixon, and Workshop/APD Principals Matt Berman & Andrew Kotchen explore design changes that meet the new needs of the home. Conversations cover all things “livable luxury” — the types of changes clients are asking for now, materials and aesthetics that have increased in popularity during this time, how to create multi-functional spaces in the home, and how redesigns for vacation homes have changed to accommodate longer-term stays. Feeling “at home” in a space is great, but with clever design adjustments and strategic choices, home can feel like much more.

Design Fearlessly
Perennials Fabrics & Rugs
Tuesday Sep 8, 2:00PM-3:00PM
To Design Fearlessly can mean different things to different people. Sometimes, it’s the use of bold color; at other times it means choosing the most luxurious fabrics for a house full of children and dogs. For some people, it’s a decision to step outside their comfort zone to create a room or a house that is a true departure from their signature style. Join ELLE DECOR Editorial Director Stellene Volandes in conversation with esteemed designers Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Sheila Bridges, and Stephanie Goto as they explore how and when they are able to create the magic that happens when they adopt this fearless approach to design.

Setting the Stage with Town & Country
FBC London
Tuesday Sep 15, 11:00AM-12:00PM
The worlds of theater set design and interior design are more closely aligned than one might think. In both worlds, the tools used to create a space – color, architectural elements, lighting, and texture – all have to come together cohesively to create a specific mood. Whether it’s a set designer creating the backdrop for a Broadway show, or an interior designer creating a client’s “personal” stage, the common goal is to create a space that evokes the right feelings from its audience. Join Town & Country Editor in Chief Stellene Volandes, Tony Award-winning scenic designer Scott Pask, Tony Award-winning production designer Clint Ramos, and esteemed interior designer Leyden Lewis as they explore how these two worlds share the goal of creating magic for all who enter them.

What’s New/What’s Next: Delectable Fall into Fabrics Hour
Jiun Ho at Dennis Miller NY
Monday Oct 5, 12:30PM-1:30PM
Please enjoy Jiun Ho Talks Live as we took our conversation into the kitchen. Jiun Ho, founder & creative force of Jiun Ho, Inc. and Michal Silver, founder of Christopher Cloth, talk about how they created their most recent textile collection, while cooking in their kitchens (Jiun in Sonoma County and Michal in London). To add a little spice into the mix, we’ve given Jiun & Michal the following challenge: Pick a favorite fabric from their most recent collection; pick a favorite pasta recipe featuring the colors of the same fabric; and prepare the recipe and enjoy. We hope to see you at our Kitchen (not so) Confidential when Jiun and Michal not only to cook but also serve up some thoughts about Travel + Inspiration + Impact on Textile Design.
