Wednesday Sep 20, 3:45PM
2023-09-20 15:45:00America/New_YorkDesign Is Spiritual™: Creating Spaces, Objects and Experiences That Make Clients Feel Whole Again"As we evolve as both humans and as an industry, we begin to understand that creating and finding spaces that evoke a sense of belonging, and that invite both sensory exploration and emotional expression is what most of our clients are searching for – even if they can’t put words to it. As architects, designers, and brands, we are now collectively being called upon to go far beyond simply designing beautiful things. We are designing to instill peace, promote healing and seek the beauty in truth. That is where design becomes spiritual. In this discussion, our speakers will each explain how they each use design to create spaces and objects that make people feel held, safe, and grounded enough to reconnect with themselves. Whether it's the architectural structure of a room; the design materials we choose, or the creation of an experiential offering, each of our guests creates an invitation into reverence through their work.
Featured Speakers:
Rachael Grochowski. Founder, RHG Architecture+Designer
Jacob Marks, founder, Skram Furniture
Moderator: Tiffany Rafii, CEO UpSpring

Design connections through Sculptural Art
Cosulich Interiors & AntiquesSuite: 509
Wednesday Sep 20, 6:00PM
2023-09-20 18:00:00America/New_YorkDesign connections through Sculptural ArtWe have today a rising need to surround ourselves with beauty, in interiors as much as exteriors so that we can harmonize with emotions in several environments. Personal space is felt as a cure for life's difficult times. In this deep connection with ourselves, Art acquires a prominent role and in particular sculptural works, a timeless art, in line with the 3 pillars that make up the Cosulich philosophy: beauty, timelessness and functionality.
The collection we will present will consist of sculptures of all sizes, entirely conceived and entirely hand-made in Italy by two female artists, that you can place either indoor or outdoor.
We will explore how adaptability in Design is the answer for transforming Art in a strategy to fulfill different functions: options of sizes, materials, finishes and colors that adapt to everyone's personality.
Stay with us to celebrate with light refreshments and live music!

Passage l New Furniture Art Collection
RinckSuite: 424
Wednesday Sep 20, 11:00AM
2023-09-20 11:00:00America/New_YorkPassage l New Furniture Art CollectionRinck, French ambassador of lifestyle since 1841 is pleased to introduce its new contemporary furniture collection, Passage.
Designed around a house informal entrance, often accessed through a side or back door and traditionally known as the "mudroom" in English country houses and American homes, the symbolic passage from outdoors to indoors.
Vegetation is invited to reclaim its rightful place, making the entrance to the home, this transition between two worlds, an embodiment of our uncertainty about our planet's future, as questions of ecological disaster and climate crisis loom on the horizon.
Following these reflections, Rinck is paying homage to the very foundation of its trades, craftmanship and know-how, by featuring raw wood or by perfectly imitating nature with striking trompe l'oeil effects.
What will be left of our creations? Will nature take over? What if someone were to rediscover this room 500 years from now?
Experience the five capsule collection masterpieces.
