Christine Carney

Christine Carney is the Director of Design at Blackberry Farm Design, a full-service design firm responsible for the interiors of Blackberry Farm, Blackberry Mountain, and High Hampton resorts. Under her leadership, Blackberry Farm Design also offers turn-key interior design services to private clients both on and off Blackberry’s resort properties and around the world. As the daughter of Air Force officers and an intrepid traveler, Christine has explored more than 55 countries and speaks 3 languages. In 2002, she moved to New York City, where she attended graduate school at the Pratt Institute, completing first a Master’s of Science degree and later a Master’s of Fine Arts degree, both in Interior Architecture. Over the next 20 years in NYC, Christine worked for iconic design firms such as Studio Sofield, Peter Marino Architect, TEN Arquitectos/Mexico City, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, and Roman and Williams Buildings and Interiors. In 2023, she moved to East Tennessee to become Director of Design at Blackberry Farm Design. CC, as she is known, loves creating beautiful, timeless spaces that are inspired by our world and bring joy. She divides her time between New York and Knoxville, and lives with her daughter, her sister, a mini labradoodle, and two cats.
