Melanie Roy

Melanie Roy’s passion for the creative arts drew her into interior design as a second career. After 15 years in the television industry, including 10 years as a Producer at HBO, she went back to school at the New York School of Interior Design to pursue her passion for design. After working with Cullman & Kravis, she started Melanie Roy Design that provides full interior design services including new construction, renovation, and architectural design. Melanie is versed in all periods and styles but designs for her clients’ tastes with a focus on creating residences that are sophisticated, elegant and timeless while still being functional. Her work has graced the cover of HC&G and has appeared in AD, Traditional Home, Hamptons & Beach magazine, NYC&D, Aspire Home and Design, The New York Times, Newsday, The Southampton Press, The Easthampton Star, 27East and numerous other publications. Melanie Roys work has been published in several books and she has appeared on NBC Open House.
