Ashi Waliany

Ashi Waliany is the founder and principal of Cusp Interiors, a San Francisco–based design studio celebrated for its layered, emotionally resonant spaces that feel both timeless and fresh. After careers in finance and hospitality, Ashi launched Cusp Interiors in 2020 with a clear point of view: high style should feel approachable, luxury and children can absolutely coexist, and modern spaces should carry echoes of the past. Her work is known for balancing rich textures with bold use of color, print, and form infusing each project with personality and a strong sense of place. She believes that great design isn’t about imposing a style, but about elevating and expanding a client’s vision. Ashi holds a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Georgetown University. Most recently, she was named one of House Beautiful’s Next Wave Designers for 2025.
