DuVäl is the founder of DuVäl Design, a full-service interior design firm based in Fairfax, VA. Recognized by magazines as “The One to Watch,” “Hot Talent,” and House Beautiful’s Next Wave, he has been seen in publications such as Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Veranda, and The New York Times. Most recently, he participated in the Kips Bay Palm Beach Decorator’s Showhouse. DuVäl has expanded his design vision into licensed product collections, including a furniture line with Sherrill Furniture Brands and a wallpaper collection with Paul Montgomery, bringing his signature aesthetic to the broader design trade. DuVäl has served on the Interior Architecture + Design Advisory Council for Marymount University and is the Chair for the HPMKT Diversity Advocacy Alliance, promoting diversity and representation in the design industry, offering him a seat as a member on the Board of Directors for HPMKT. He is also a member of the esteemed Design Leadership Network and personally leads “Business Strategies for Minorities,” a bi-monthly call focused on advocating for design+business equity and competency within the BIPOC community. A serial entrepreneur, DuVäl is also the owner of Fairfax Kitchen Cabinets, a national wholesale cabinet company, and the House of DuVäl, an e-commerce site for home furnishings. He also offers private coaching to interior designers looking to scale their businesses from 6 to 7 figures.
