Taylor Mattos joined her mother at Rinfret, Ltd. in 2020, following a successful early career working for global design businesses. In addition to positions at leading design firms in the U.S. and the renowned home furnishings brand, de Gournay in Paris, London and New York, Taylor has also worked in marketing and banking. With a degree in advertising and psychology from Southern Methodist University in Texas, Taylor offers a far-ranging experience and sophisticated yet forward-minded style that compliments her mother’s classic approach. Taylor Mattos is one to watch in design, having earned national acclaim, alongside Cindy Rinfret, for the “Seashell Sanctuary at Vizcaya” at Kips Bay Palm Beach in 2024. Additionally, House Beautiful named Taylor Mattos into its NEXT WAVE that same year, a select group of the 13 rising star designers in the nation. This powerful and creative mother-daughter duo expands Rinfret’s reach and marks an exciting new chapter for this well-respected and established design firm.
