Alicia Cheung

Alicia Cheung Lichtenstein is the co-owner and principal of Studio Heimat. From a young age she has used clothing as an outlet to express her creativity and style. She decided to study Textiles and Clothing at UC Davis and her passion for textiles and materials continue to inform the aesthetics of Studio Heimat today. In 2009 she met her business partner and co-owner Eva Bradley, while working for tastemaker and influential designer Ken Fulk. They bonded over a desire to create beauty- both through the curation of objects, and creating the objects themselves. In 2015, they decided to chase a lifelong dream of opening their own firm. The Studio Heimat culture is driven by an insatiable curiosity, striving towards excellence and collaboration. Alicia is guided by the goal of evoking soulful spaces through clean lines, elevating the status quo, and adding edginess to each project. Inspired by her travels and love of textiles, she works through the iterative process of design through materiality and fabrics, teasing out the best outcome for her clients and projects.
