Established in 2019, Muse Noire was born out of Ashley’s desire to create spaces that embrace people of color and make them feel whole when they return home. Recognizing the sacrifices individuals make to fit societal norms, Ashley believes in immersing high-performing BIPOC executives in a timeless and tactile environment where they can truly be seen and heard. Before launching Muse Noire, Ashley served as a fundraiser and executive director for large nonprofits dedicated to helping children and families. However, it was with the start of her own family, that Ashley made the decision to transition into a creative career. Together, they have cultivated a contemporary global design aesthetic through their travels across four continents and seventeen countries. Beyond design Ashley remains committed to challenging the status quo as a founding member of High Point Market Authority’s Diversity Advocacy Alliance.
