Betsy Wentz

Betsy Wentz began learning design at a young age alongside her mother, who had an interior design shop above the family’s carriage house. Betsy later earned a master’s degree and worked in mental health counseling. In 2011, she blended her experience and education, establishing her own design firm, and in 2016 added Studio B design showroom. In her first book, DESIGN HAPPY, Betsy shares 12 fabulous family homes filled with exciting mixes of color and pattern. The book is a practical design guide for anyone who may not want-or simply cannot afford-to hire an interior designer. The story of each home includes color studies, design lessons, and pro tips, plus plenty of practical advice for anyone who might face similar challenges. Betsy’s work has been featured in Traditional Home, VERANDA, Elle Decor, Pittsburgh Home, and House Beautiful, among others. She lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has clients throughout Pittsburgh as well as California, Chicago, Florida, Maine, Ohio, Canada, and London.
