Blair Moore

Blair Moore began her design career in fashion, working in Italy with Gucci and Bottega Veneta after receiving a business degree from The University of Queensland and a design degree from Parsons School of Design in New York. Founded in 2018, Moore House Design’s interiors are clean and uncluttered, warm, and organic, elevated yet casual—with inspiration drawn from Blair’s childhood in Australia, her fashion background, and her passion and respect for historical architecture. A creative mind with an affinity for interior architecture balanced with heirloom-quality pieces and a bit of “grittiness,” Blair has attracted clients worldwide and is currently working on residential homes as well as boutique hotel properties. “I want the spaces we design to feel perfectly unplanned,” Blair says. “As if our client’s grandmother had been editor in chief of a design magazine and had handed down the most exceptional pieces that are now mixed with our client’s collections and pieces from their travels. Well-designed homes should feel utterly personal and effortless.” Blair’s accolades include Portfolio of the Year at Parsons School of Design, The Kering Group’s Empowering Imagination Award, and semi-finalist for the H&M Design award. Her work has been published in Domino, House Beautiful, and Rue, among others. Roweam, Blair’s luxury furniture brand dedicated to creating heirloom pieces that evoke a sense of memory and connection is launching in September 2023.
