Chrissy Jones, named House Beautiful’s Next Wave of 2024, is the designer and founder of Twenty-Eighth Design Studio, a Los Angeles-based firm. Chrissy’s career began in public relations and events within the music entertainment industry, followed by a decade-long career in corporate marketing. During this time, she earned a master’s degree in business marketing, which she applied to her passion for event and interior design by opening a small business. In 2019, Chrissy decided to fully dedicate her company to interiors, bringing a unique and invaluable skill set to the design industry. Twenty-Eighth Design Studio’s objective is to help clients feel more confident in their spaces by creating high-end, personality-centered interiors. Chrissy’s commitment to creating aesthetically stunning spaces has earned her a loyal following among clients, industry peers, and a niche social media audience. Her clientele includes influencers, entrepreneurs, professional athletes, and entertainment industry executives. As an up-and-coming designer and African American woman, Chrissy aims to make a significant impact in the interior design industry with her keen eye for design and raw talent. Given the lack of BIPOC representation in the design world, she hopes to create more opportunities and visibility for women like her. Chrissy’s design ethos centers around being thoughtful, creative, trusted, and intentional.
