Dvira Ovadia is the founder and principal designer of Dvira Interiors, an internationally recognized design studio known for creating layered, editorially driven interiors that feel both timeless and deeply personal. With over two decades of experience, Dvira has built a reputation for crafting sophisticated residential and commercial spaces that merge architectural integrity with an elevated sense of warmth, texture, and livability. Educated in both Architecture and Interior Design, Dvira earned her degree in Architecture from the University of Toronto before completing her Master of Science in Interior Architecture at Pratt Institute in New York. Her early career was shaped by leading design firms in both New York City and Toronto, experiences that cultivated her globally influenced perspective and refined aesthetic sensibility. Dvira first gained national attention after winning From the Ground Up with Debbie Travis, later becoming widely recognized as the lead designer and art director on HGTV’s Income Property alongside Scott McGillivray. Since then, her work has continued to evolve into a distinct luxury design language defined by rich materiality, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a balance between old world romance and modern sophistication. Today, Dvira leads a full-service studio with projects spanning across Canada and the United States. Her work has been featured in leading design publications and is celebrated for its luxury feel, meticulous detailing, immersive storytelling, and ability to create spaces that feel luxurious yet entirely livable.
