Iantha Carley is the principal and founder of Iantha Carley Interiors, a boutique design firm based in the Washington, D.C. area. Established in 2005, her practice is widely recognized for its bold, confident use of color, rich textures, and expressive patterns. Raised in a family of artists, Carley developed an early, fearless approach to mixing unexpected hues, traditional elements, and modern geometric forms. Rather than adhering strictly to passing trends, her philosophy centers on organic, evolutionary design—creating timeless, layered spaces that feel thoughtfully curated over time. Iantha is a co-founder of Design Collective DC, an organization dedicated to fostering community and creating opportunities for designers of color in the mid-Atlantic region.
