Kati Curtis’ official Interior Design career started upon graduating from SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) with honors. Kati’s unofficial design career took root much earlier, when, at 10 years old, sitting side by side with her father, together they designed their Maine home. When built, the handcrafted home completely captured the spirit, culture and particular passions of her family. Today, Kati is known for her ability to capture those same elements for her clients in their homes. When designing interiors, Kati looks for the beautiful and compelling sweet-spot that lies at the intersection of, or, in between the raw and the refined, the edgy and the polished; it’s the place that Kati sees as full of dynamic possibility. Kati Curtis Design is headquartered in New York City, where its team brings Kati’s design sensibility to commissions throughout Manhattan, east to the Hamptons, down the Jersey shore, and west to California, where the firm has a Los Angeles office. Kati energizes spaces with a fearless commitment to pattern and texture, color and motif. That commitment is invigorated by friends, mentors, and clients who share her design passions and passion for design. It’s reinvigorated by Kati’s chronic and incurable travel-bug, which has taken her around the world. Kati’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Interior Design Magazine, among many others.
