Marie Cloud

Marie Cloud is owner and Principal Designer of Indigo Pruitt Design Studio. “There is something special about a home that not only looks good but also makes your soul dance and your heart sing.” Marie’s goal is to create a memorable design experience for her clients, infuse wellness within their homes, and design a space that is reflective of who they are, how they live, and what they love. Marie is recognized for her blended approach to aesthetics. She adores layers of style, strategic color saturation and expressive art. Her “dance it out” personality shines through her designs and creates a new aesthetic that feels unique and refreshing. Marie’s projects tend to have a fresh modern flair, paired with classic and timeless elements. Cultural touches also help define this story-telling aesthetic. Marie comes with a background full of design. She studied at Bowling Green State University, where she earned her bachelor’s in interior design. After completing her education, a degree in design and internships with large design firms, Marie was recruited by Sherwin Williams where she fine tuned her intuitive sense of color before establishing her own design firm, Indigo Pruitt, in 2017. Considered a leader in her community, Marie has participated in and led a number of outreach initiatives that serve the homeless community of Charlotte and its surrounding areas. She also proudly sits as a board member holding the current role of Diversity and Inclusion Chair for High Point x Design. Marie has been featured in both local and national press, appearing in Good Housekeeping, Charlotte Home Design and Décor, HGTV, AD Pro, Apartment Therapy, My Domaine and Business of Home to name a few.
