Sherrell Neal, Owner and Principal Designer of Houston-based firm Sherrell Design Studio, has been praised for her relaxing color palettes, rich patterns and textures, and thoughtful approach to functional interiors. Sherrell holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Houston and is an Allied Member of her local ASID chapter. Her passion for detail, quality and craftsmanship matured from time in the field on remodel jobs and in workshops, where she developed a heart for design alongside her father’s remodeling business. Her range of work often conveys a mix of old and new with restraint and timelessness. Sherrell’s designs serve a fresh traditional aesthetic, and have appeared in national publications including House Beautiful, Modern Luxury Interiors Texas, and Luxe Design + Interiors in addition to various blog pieces. The American Society of Interior Designers also honored her with a Ruby Design Award in 2019 for best Residential Small Firm. And in 2022 she was esteemed a House Beautiful Next Wave Designer.
